ROOF ASSESSMENT
Start here

What do you need for your roof?

Three ways in, all free. Independent local roofers do the work — we match you and stay out of the way.

Not sure which? Start with the replacement estimate — it costs you nothing and tells you what you're dealing with.

Replacement estimate

What will it cost to replace my roof?

Tell us what's on the roof now and what you'd rather have. No photos, no phone call, no waiting on a salesman — satellite square footage and a price range in under a minute, for whatever material you're considering.

We pull satellite imagery of this roof to measure it — nothing is shared with anyone.

What's on the roof now?
How many layers are on it now?

Every layer past the first has to come off and get hauled away. Not sure? We'll price one layer and the roofer confirms on site.

What do you want to go back with?

You don't have to put back what's up there now. We'll price what you pick and show you what the others would run.

Free. No email or phone number required to see your number.

Insurance assessment

Storm hit your roof? See whether insurance is likely to cover it.

This one needs photos — approval odds come from what's actually on your roof, not from a generic storm report. You'll get a replacement cost estimate, your approval likelihood, and what to do next.

It's on your policy's declarations page. Leave it blank and we'll assume $1,500.

Insurance replaces a roof when a specific event caused the damage — a hailstorm, a windstorm, an active leak, or something sudden like a fallen tree — not normal aging. Pick every cause that applies.

How it works

Four steps from “my roof looks rough” to a signed bid

Roof & Claim Advisor is a free matching service for homeowners. Here's the whole process.

1
Get your free estimate

Your address, what's on the roof, and its age. You get satellite square footage and a replacement cost range in about a minute — no photos, no phone call.

2
Request your bids

Pick the materials you want priced and how many bids you want (3, 4, or 5). Free, no obligation, and you can stop at any point.

3
Local roofers compete

Vetted, licensed contractors near you submit competing bids to your dashboard. No sales reps at the door — they only get your name and number after you pick one.

4
You choose who to hire

Compare price, shingle brand, and warranty side by side, then hire whoever you want. Nobody chases you if you decide not to.

We match homeowners with independent local roofing contractors — we don't do the roofing ourselves, and we don't negotiate insurance claims on your behalf. Any contract for the work is directly between you and the contractor you choose.

Repair, not replacement

Have something specific that needs fixing?

Tell us what's wrong and show us. No measurements, no report, no site visit — up to five contractors read your request and send back a price with how they'd approach it.

Where it is, when you noticed it, anything you've already tried. Write as much or as little as you like.

Example
Example repair photo: worn shingles on a back slopeClose enough to see the shingles, wide enough to place it.

“Found I have some shingles sliding free, need someone to give me a quote to remove and replace these 5 sliding shingles. I have extra shingles in the garage to provide”

Add photosAt least 1 required

Photos are what contractors bid from — on a repair they matter more than on a full replacement. Room for four: the problem up close, plus wider shots that show where it sits.

Add at least one photo to send your request.

or

Not sure what's wrong, or would rather someone just look? A licensed local roofer comes out and tells you what they find — free, no photos needed.

Your contact details go only to the contractors you ask us to reach — a maximum of five for any one repair.
